Lidera Teams with Privafy to Deliver Zero-Trust, Full-Stack Security to The Iberian Peninsula and Latin America .

Madrid, Spain– September 13, 2021.  Lidera, a leading provider of premium and tailored distribution for IT technology and cybersecurity services, announced a strategic agreement to distribute Privafy’s cloud-native security solutions to its partner network of service providers, telecommunications companies, and ICT solution providers from all segments.

The partnership meets the growing demand for cybersecurity, including managed services for the small to mid-size enterprises (SME), expanding Lidera’s security portfolio with an advanced Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution that is deployed, scaled, and managed entirely in the cloud.

The rise in cyberattacks against businesses has created a pressing need and a multibillion-dollar market for security solutions. Traditional point security solutions are no longer enough; they are too costly, complex, and vulnerable. Ransomware attacks are up worldwide by 151% in 1st half of 2021, with more than one-half (55%) of ransomware attacks involving companies with fewer than 250 employees.

According to Reinaldo Rodríguez, CEO of Lidera, “In a market that is increasingly oriented towards cloud solutions, having such an elastic solution with great performance for all types and sizes of companies is an important differentiator; for Lidera’s portfolio of services.”

Privafy’s offering also includes Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) functionality that enables businesses to access cloud-based applications from anywhere and on any device securely. While at the same time providing exceptional visibility across the perimeter, application, and users for cloud applications such as Office 365, Google Workspace, Dropbox, QuickBooks, Salesforce, Freshbooks, Ring Central, and GitHub.

“Partnering with Lidera brings us closer to companies that can really benefit from our security service,” said Kathleen Goodwin, Vice President Partnerships at Privafy. “Lidera’s strong sales leadership and extensive security experience for over 20 years make them an ideal partner, and we are very excited to be part of their growing portfolio of solutions.”

Lidera will sell Privafy’s solutions throughout the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America. With a team of more than 50 people, the company delivers a premium and tailored distribution for IT technology and cybersecurity.
